Report a security problem
How to tell the CTRI team about a security problem, and how we look after your information.
Thank you for caring enough to tell us. If you think you have found a security problem on this site, please write to hello@ctri.ng with "Security" in the subject.
- Tell us what you saw, the page it was on, and the steps to see it again. A screenshot helps.
- Please do not look at other people's information or change anything that is not yours, and please give us a little time to fix it before you share it more widely.
- A real person reads every message. We will thank you, tell you what we find, and say when it is fixed.
How we look after your information
- The textbooks are plain pages, with no accounts and no database behind them.
- If you join our mailing list we keep your email address and, if you give it, your first name, only to send what you chose. We first send one email to check it is really you, and every email has a link to change your choices or leave. Leaving deletes your details.
- Gifts go through Paystack, a secure payment service. We never see your card details.
- Volunteers' work is checked by a person before it appears on the site.
